Just as Caitlyn Jenner's Vanity Fair cover was released into the ether, people wanted to know everything they could about her personal style. While it's a far cry from the Kardashian-Jenner aesthetic, Caitlyn has certainly been holding her own. And everyone from your mom to every person who owns a computer has an opinion about it. But TBH, we're only here for the thoughts of Laverne Cox and former Vogue editor-at-large André Leon Talley, who dished on Caitlyn's style while appearing on Sunday's "Watch What Happens Live."
"I think she looks great. I love what she's wearing," Laverne said "I think she recently wore Leger—I wear Leger a lot. Go Caitlyn!"
André, being André, had a little bit more to add than Laverne saying, "I think she looks fabulous. I thought she was fabulous on the Vanity Fair cover. And I think she looks like the perfect wealthy, affluent white woman who's privileged, and that's important, and she comes from that kind of background. I think she looks fabulous."
Despite the high praise for her sartorial choices, Laverne also addressed the importance of appreciating Caitlyn beyond what she wears adding, "I think it's important, particularly when we talk about women, and trans women even more particularly, that we focus on who the person is beyond what we look like. I like to think I have a lot more to offer beyond what I look like."
While she's undoubtedly right, we can only assume Caitlyn isn't upset to have the Laverne and André stamp of approval.
