Even The 'Star Wars' Cast Didn't Know This Comic-Con Surprise

Oscar Isaac says he had NO idea.

With reporting by Josh Horowitz.

2015 was truly the year of "Star Wars" at San Diego Comic-Con. Though there wasn't any new trailer to show fans at Hall H on Friday afternoon, J.J. Abrams and the entire cast of "The Force Awakens" blew everyone's minds with new behind-the-scenes footage, a star-studded panel, and even a free "Star Wars" concert for 6,000+ lucky audience members.

But as brand new X-Wing fighter pilot Oscar Isaac told MTV News, there's still a lot of surprises in store when the new "Star Wars" hits theaters in December. AND a lot of surprises for the cast, too -- like, the arrival of Harrison Ford at SDCC, for example!

"We didn't know that either!" Isaac said laughing, revealing that the cast weren't informed Ford would be on the panel with them. "We actually had a meeting beforehand earlier in the day where we ran through everything that was gonna happen and they didn't tell us. It wasn't until we showed up that I saw him there."

Check out what other secrets Isaac was able to spill in the video above -- and as he says: may the force be with you.
