Kid Cudi is a rap star, but he's soon to be a fixture on television thanks to his new role on "Comedy Bang Bang."

But don't think his new co-starring gig will have the MC forgetting his music roots. In fact, you can expect new Cudder material on the show each week. At least that's what he promised on Twitter Wednesday (July 8).

So, tune in on Thursdays for that material.

And no, you won't be able to buy that music elsewhere.

The show is also excited for Cudi to make his debut. "Comedy Bang Bang" tweeted about the rapper's new silver screen run calling it "triumphant."

While his "Comedy Bang Bang" music might not be what you'd expect from him, don't worry. The WZRD has us amped to hear his next project, Speedin' Bullet To Heaven, which he's reportedly prepping for release.
