We all know Miley Cyrus as the undisputed queen of weird, hilarious Photoshopped pics on Instagram. But a surprise new contender may be vying for her crown… and it’s none other than One Direction’s Liam Payne.

Remember how the guys once nicknamed Liam “Daddy Directioner” because he’s the sensible, serious one of the group? Welp, don’t be mistaken — Liam has quite the goofy side, and that’s never been clearer than when we saw his latest Insta antics.

The 21-year-old has been enjoying some downtime lately while on hiatus from touring, and he’s been filling his time with a family vacation in Florida, where he got all wet and almost got eaten by a dinosaur. But in between those shenanigans, Payne-o’s been on a major Instagram spree, showing off his love for action movies with some awesomely bizarre fake film posters.

First there was Liam as Al Pacino’s Tony Montana in “Scarface,” which he captioned with the flick’s famous line, “Say hello to my little friend.”

He followed up with a “Men in Black II” poster featuring him and his dad, spoofing a quote from the movie: “You know what the difference between me and you is dad... I make this look good ;).”

And then there’s this epic (and frankly REALLY HOT) “Indiana Jones” poster, which he jokingly captioned, “Such an honour to play this role Indiana jones 6 coming to a theatre near you.”

Just a couple days ago, Liam also joked that he’d been cast in “Jurassic Park 5” with this super-chill pic of him and a menacing raptor.

And finally, Liam light-heartedly captioned this dark, brooding pic of him and a lamp with a quote from “Anchorman”: “Brick: I love lamp Ron: do u love the lamp brick or are you just saying you love the lamp.”

Soooo, clearly Liam’s been filling up his free time with a ton of movie marathons. And while we’d love for this awesome Insta spree to continue, we’re also psyched to see him get back to what he does best on stage — the boys’ Where We Are Now tour picks back up in San Diego on Thursday. Maybe it’ll feature a new action movie-inspired set so we can see Liam tumble around as Indy Jones? We can dream.
