Rick Ross Arrested On Multiple Charges, Including Kidnapping

The rapper was picked up in Georgia.

Rick Ross was reportedly arrested early Wednesday morning (June 24) on multiple charges.

As reported by the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, the rapper was arrested on kidnapping, aggravated assault and aggravated battery charges in Georgia's Fayette County. Another man, Nadrian James, reportedly Ross' bodyguard, was also arrested and charged with kidnapping and aggravated battery.

The incident in question allegedly involves Rozay pistol-whipping someone who was working on his home. According to a release from the Fayette County Sheriff's Office, they began an investigation on Jun. 7 about an assault "at a residence on Highway 279 in Fayetteville, GA" where the two men were suspects.

The Fayette County Sheriff's Office and the U.S. Marshals Southeast Regional Fugitive Task Force then arrested the two without incident this morning.

Ross' latest trouble with the law comes just weeks after another arrest in Fayette County earlier this month. On June 10, he was reportedly arrested on a misdemeanor drug charge after being pulled over by police while driving.
