'Even Stevens': Where Are They Now?
15 years ago, Disney Channel starting airing what would become the staple show for children all over America: "Even Stevens," of course. It was hard not to laugh at the ridiculous situations Louis Stevens, played by Shia LaBeouf, would get himself into. Even after so many years, the few clips you can find on YouTube remind you of just how funny the series really was, and that's why we've decided to round up where the cast is now -- and formally ask them if we can have a reunion... Pretty please?
Shia LaBeouf Then...
Shia LaBeouf Now...
While you may recall Shia LaBeouf for his most recent appearance in Sia's "Elastic Heart" video and his recent controversial freestyle, there was a time, after "Even Stevens" wrapped up, when Shia ruled the big screen. From "Transformers" to "Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull", Shia became a pretty big deal. No worries, though, Shia fans: he's still acting and inspiring people everywhere.
Christy Carlson Romano Then...
Christy Carlson Romano Now...
Christy has definitely kept active since her days as the studious older sister of Louis Stevens, Ren, on the Disney Channel TV series. From doing the voice-over of Kim from "Kim Possible" and Yuffie Kisaragi in "Kingdom Hearts," to acting out on Broadway - Christy hasn't shied away from the spotlight. A recent graduate of Barnard College, Christy is also married to Brendan Rooney, whom she met while attending university. Cue the *aw* moment.
Nick Spano Then...
Nick Spano Now...
Who can forget the hunky older brother, Donnie Stevens? Well, not much has changed since then for Nick. He's still super fit and while he's also still been acting in shows like "Monk," "NCIS" and "Without a Trace." He's also created "Re/Creation Cafe" an "open-minded community" where one can grow, "through unique creative events that combine mind and body in a playful world."
Tom Virtue Then...
Tom Virtue Now...
Tom, also known as DAD or Steve on "Even Stevens," has made so many appearances on the little screen that it's hard to count. From "90210" to "Law and Order" to "The Secret Life of the American Teenager," it's easy to see that Tom just doesn't stop.
Donna Pescow Then...
Donna Pescow Now...
Donna, or Eileen, was all about the tough love when it came to parenting Louis, Ren, and Donnie. Donna made a few appearances after the show aired its last episode, one of the most notable being "The Sopranos."
A.J. Trauth Then...
A.J. Trauth Now...
Other than getting married to actress Leah Pipes of the CW's "The Originals," A.J Trauth, or Twitty, has made a few rare appearances on TV shows such as "Bones," and in short films. It seems as though Leah's Instagram is the only consistent way to get a glimpse of the actor.
Margo Harshman Then...
Margo Harshman Now...
Margo has been keeping pretty busy since her role as Louis Stevens' girlfriend, from starring in a horror movie called "Sorority Row," to appearing on shows like "Modern Family," "NCIS," "Bones" and CBS' "The Big Bang Theory". While she isn't big on the social media scene, I think it's safe to assume that Margo is doing just fine after her Disney days.
Lauren Frost Then...
Lauren Frost Now...
Lauren, also known as Ruby (Ren's bestfriend), has made a few appearances on screen since wrapping up the "Even Stevens Movie" in 2003. Now, Lauren is one part of a trio called the Cake Batter Comedy group which hosts a "Funny Women Fest;" along with having their own YouTube channel filled with sketches.
Steven Anthony Lawrence Then...
Steven Anthony Lawrence Now...
While Steven has been keeping active in the acting world, taking roles in movies such as "Dr. Seuss' The Cat in the Hat," "Cheaper by the Dozen" and "Kicking & Screaming," we'd like to think that the fact that Tyler, The Creator used Steven's picture as a Twitter avatar in 2013 would be proof of his influence as Beans from "Even Stevens."
Eric "Ty" Hodges Then...
Eric "Ty" Hodges Now...
Eric has been keeping busy as an actor and a producer. Surely most of us can recall him from, "Don't Look Under the Bed;" but he's been in a number of TV shows and movies since playing the part of Ren's overachieving enemy. He made a recent appearance at L.A's Film Festival Week in the drama "A Girl Like Grace" starring alongside Meagan Good and Raven-Symoné.
Jim Wise Then...
Jim Wise Now...
Who could forget Coach Tugnut screaming "Stevens!" throughout the series? Since dealing with Louis' antics, Jim Wise has been making some pretty big scenes on late night TV. He's been on "The Jay Leno Show," "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno," "The Arsenio Hall Show," served as a consultant for the MTV VMAs and wrote for Pitbull's "New Year's Revolution" extravaganza this year.
