Sophie Turner Could Be Channeling Her Inner Katniss In 'X-Men: Apocalypse’

Now if only SANSA could get her hands on a bow, too...

Sophie Turner is famous for playing Sansa Stark in "Game of Thrones," but she might need to take some lessons from the wildling Ygritte for her role in "X-Men: Apocalypse."

Yesterday, director Bryan Singer uploaded to his Instagram a series of photos and videos that feature Turner, who will play Jean Grey in the third recent "X-Men" movie, in very close proximity to a bow. Although, ever the show-off, it's SINGER who's actually firing it:

"Teaching young #JeanGrey @sophiet what I learned in summer camp," his description reads. What, did they not teach you to keep your pinky off the bow string when you're nocking an arrow? That's gonna hurt when you fire the thing, bro. First three fingers only!

Anyway, despite the lack of technique Sophie was still pretty impressed, as you can see from this video of the playback that Singer uploaded soon after:

We also see her grab the bow from Singer towards the end of the video -- does this mean she'll be firing the weapon herself in "X-Men: Apocalypse?" Jean Grey isn't known for her archery skills, but when you think about it, moving arrows with her mind after firing them would be great practice for her mutant telekinesis abilities.

Plus, everybody loves a female archer -- from Katniss Everdeen to Merida, they're basically all the rage these days. Especially redheaded ones...

All we need is Peter Dinklage to reprise his role from "Days Of Future Past" and for Kitty Pryde's dragon from the comics to show up so we can have ourself a REAL "Game of Thrones"/"X-Men" crossover, right?
