Well, we have some pretty dang great news to announce to all of you aca-enthusiasts out there... actually, scratch that, we'll let Anna Freaking Kendrick take it from here:

In case you don't speak Kendrick Instagram-lish, know that Beca Mitchell just confirmed that she's returning for "Pitch Perfect 3" in the pic, which is captioned "Happening #3."

We at MTV News are actually pretty shocked to hear this, despite the record-breaking debut of the second film in the series just last month. "PP2" made it seem like the graduating Mitchell would depart in favor of a Barden Bellas led by newcomer Hailee Steinfeld, but hey -- this just goes to show that girl power (and box office moolah) really talks!
