You just might not have recognized her right off the cuff thanks to her all-new 'do.

Britney Spears is currently expanding her fragrance empire in Vegas while she paints in the buff and voodoo doll-stabs her exes for making pals (OK, we may have exaggerated that last bit, but whatevs). So, you know, all the important things.

But that doesn't mean the pop icon forgets to enjoy the simpler pleasures of life -- like a fresh summer shear.

Yep, Brit chopped off a lot of lock length this week to maintain her sweet 'lil soccer mom image of late and shared a glimpse of the sporty new cut on Instagram.

Nothing toxic about this new look. In fact it kind of makes us want to scream and shout.

Britney certainly seems happy in it, and, come to think of it, the shoulder-length mane game seems to really work for her right now.

Hey, it even looked great when she dark-dyed her tresses last year.
