Asher Roth's Got A New Song For Steph Curry To Rap On: Listen To ‘That’s Cute’
Steph Curry - who’s battling for the NBA crown against LeBron James’ Cleveland Caveliers - once hilariously rapped along to the tune of Asher Roth’s “I Love College.” Well, now, the Pennsylvania MC has a new song for this year's MVP to enjoy.
Roth tweeted this to Curry yesterday, letting him know the song - "That's Cute" - was going to be out.
Curry also got a shoutout (sort of) on the track. "My bonds diversified as my rhymes or verses, hot as the mom of Steph Curry,” Roth rapped on the Chuck Inglish-produced song.
The line refers to Steph's mom Sonya Curry who runs and operates a montessori school - like the type Kanye West rapped about wanting on Big Sean's "Blessings."
But we’re not sure how the Golden State Warriors star will take the lyric. I mean, just last year, ESPN's "Highly Questionable" asked how tired he was of hearing people discuss his mom's beauty. “That’s the worst,” he said.
Besides his rap-related headlines, Curry's got some good news. His squad won Game 1 of the Finals last night and they're set to face-off against the Cavs for Game 2 on Sunday.
