You may know him from his YouTube covers, his recent single "Gibberish" or his role in the Beach Boys bio pic "Love & Mercy," but that's only a tiny taste of what MTV Artist To Watch MAX has to offer.

Not only will the actor/singer be kicking off the Boys of Zummer tour with Wiz Khalifa and Fall Out Boy on June 10, but come this fall, he'll also be releasing his new full-length LP.

"We've been working on the new album for a bit," MAX told MTV News. "I'm really fortunate I've been working with Pharrell Williams on a few songs."

And while you'll be able to learn a ton about MAX from his upcoming music, we wanted to share some fun facts we unlocked about the 22-year-old in the meantime. To help paint a picture, we asked MAX to reenact his stories in GIFs -- check them out below!

He Had A Hunky Hamster

"My hamster’s name was Hercules because he picked up his little toilet paper thing all the time and ripped it up instead of going through it. He escaped and we found him -- this is really sad -- found him months later in an old gingerbread house in the closet... his little hamster bones. Which is so sad and why I haven’t had a pet since then."

Will Smith Makes Him Feel Like Family

Not only can MAX recite "The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air" theme song, but he loved the TV show so much he considered himself an honorary member of the Banks family. "You just feel so good watching it," he said. "You feel like you’re such a part of that family, which is awesome. Any great sitcom does that! They make you feel like, 'Oh yeah, I’m a part of that family.' That’s dope!”

He Kisses And Tells

His first lip-lock happened with a girl who, like him, had braces. MAX was so nervous their brackets might lock, he didn't notice who had a front row seat to their smooch session at the movies. "My middle school teacher was, like, in the same aisle! I was like, 'What are you doing here? I’m trying to make out with this girl!' Yeah, it was like your classic, awkward stage, middle school kiss."

Madonna Left Him Seeing Stars

Cast to play Madge's son in Dolce and Gabbana's 2010 Fall campaign, MAX admits he was left star-stuck -- and with some new moves -- after shooting his scenes with the icon. "She was supposed to be playing my mother, I’m supposed to be disgusted by her and I go up and she’s like, 'What are you doing?' And I was like, 'What, I’ll do whatever you want!' And she grabbed my back and she pulled me up and she was like, 'I’ll teach you how to dance,' And I was like, 'Oh snap,'" he recalled. "I was like 'Oh my gosh, this is crazy!'"

His Skydiving Guide Didn't Disable His Mobile Device

While recently checking skydiving off his bucket list, MAX's tandem instructor was more focused on his phone than their freefall. "My guy was playing Fruit Ninja as we were going up and I was like, 'Yo we’re about to jump out of this plane, can you not play Fruit Ninja?!'" MAX laughed. "I was like, 'Yo, can you make me feel more safe?!' But then I realized afterward that he was probably pretty awesome because he was that confident that he was like, 'Yeah I did this six times today; let me play some Fruit Ninja in between work.'"

JGL Is His Doppelgänger

"I get Joseph Gordon-Levitt," he replied when asked if he had a celeb lookalike. "I would love him to play an older brother in something or I would love to collaborate with him because I think he’s awesome. Ever since '3rd Rock From The Sun.'"

He Was Slow To Seeing Shows

"I went to my first real concert at a very late age, which is pretty weird. I went to a Justine Nozuka concert, my first concert. I was in college," MAX said. "He has the most amazing voice and, yeah, I remember going to that show, I was like, 'Wow this is so sick, I want to do this forever.'"

He Was Almost A Backseat Driver Dier

"I almost died when I was about nine. One of my best friends at the time was a guy named Chase and we were in the car in upstate New York and my mom got out to get the mail and we were on a hill and the car started rolling down the hill and I was like, 'AHH! What the?!' He jumped in the front, hit the emergency brake, pulled to the side, saved my life, and I’m gonna name my first child Chase because of that."

He's Hooked On Peter Pan Characters

"I’d say my first memory was at Disney World, not Disney Land. In Disney World I was on the Peter Pan ride and I remember seeing Captain Hook and being like, 'Whoa Captain Hook!'"

He's Been Busted For Bubblegum

"[One of my friends] always gets on me about chewing my gum too loud and I always don’t think I’m chewing it too loud but she’s mad pissed about it all the time. She’s like, 'Hey I can hear you.' And I’m like, 'Yo, chill!' But it definitely gets me."
