Aging is inevitable, but there are the few lucky souls who, thanks to good genetics, make us question whether or not they have found the fountain of youth. While some of these starlets may act as teenagers in some of your favorite TV shows or movies, they're actually older...some are even a lot older than the characters they play. Get ready to slather on that anti-wrinkle cream because these actors' real age will make you want to stay forever young...or at least look like it!

Jason Earles

Jason, AKA Jackson on "Hannah Montana", played the role of Hannah's older brother...and we do mean older. Jason depicted the character of a young teen while, in real life, he was well into his late twenties. Now at 38, it's safe to say that the man just doesn't age.

Stacey Dash

Playing the role of the rich and ever fabulous Dionne Davenport from Beverly Hills in the 1995 film "Clueless", Stacey Dash, now 48, acted out the 16 year old at the ripe age of 28!

Paul Wesley

Paul, who plays Stefan Salvatore in the CW's "Vampire Dairies", might look like a teenage beauty, but he's actually 32. Even though he plays a charming 17 year old in the supernatural drama, Paul has about a ten year age difference from the character he portrays.

Alan Rickman

We're convinced that Alan Rickman has used some magic for his role as Severus Snape. The elixir of youth, perhaps? Alan played the Defense Against the Dark Arts professor who, by the novel, was in his 30's throughout the series. Alan, however, was around 55 years old when the series began. That means while Snape dies at 38 in the final book, Alan played the part at 65. Now that's an enchantment.

Jared Leto

Don't let his shiny hair and perfectly smooth skin fool you, Jared, now 43, isn't such a young "thang" anymore. For those of you who can recall "Girl, Interrupted", Jared plays the ex-boyfriend of Susanna, a young girl who has an 18 month stay in a mental institution. In the film, Jared is graduating high school and moving onto college while, in real life, he was around 28.

Alexis Bledel

In the 2005 film "Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants" Alexis, now 33, portrays a high school teen, Lena Kaligaris, who spends her summer, apart from her friends, in Greece. Lena might be driven by juvenile hormones in the film, but off-screen she was nearing her mid-20's.

Charisma Carpenter

Known as the "mean girl" of Sunnydale High School, Cordelia Chase played by Charisma, was quite the side kick in the series "Buffy the Vampire Slayer". At the mature age of 27, Charisma portrayed an energetic 16 year old who knew how to kick some butt.

Kenny Wormald

Playing the role of a teenager who breaks all the rules in 2011's remake of "Footloose", Kenny, now 30, makes being in high school seem fun again. Too bad he actually graduated from high school in 2002 making him around 27 when the film was released.

Ian Somerhalder

Depicting a tall, dark and handsome vampire hunk on the CW's "Vampire Dairies", Ian could convince you into thinking that he's truly a 25 year old like the character he plays but you'd be very wrong! He's actually 36.

Bianca Lawson

Known as Maya St. Germain on ABC's "Pretty Little Liars" series, Bianca (who is now 36) played a 17 year old high school student when, in fact, she was 31 years old. That's a 14 year difference in age, which is what leads us to believe that she's immortal.

Anna Kendrick

"Pitch Perfect" star, Anna Kendrick, portrays a freshman in college who decides to join an acapella group. While her character may have been in her late teens, Anna was around 27 years old when she filmed the movie.

Michael Trevino

Here's yet another "Vampire Diaries" cast member who could make us believe in immortality. Michael Trevino, who's 30, depicts a high school student turned vampire throughout the CW series, all while actually being in his late twenties.

Minka Kelly

This "Friday Night Lights" star portrayed the young, southern bell, Lyla Garrity, who was a high school cheerleader/sweetheart, but, while the fictional character, Lyla, was clearly in her teens Minka was 26 years old.

Kristen Bell

In the UPN teen-drama series "Veronica Mars" Kristin Bell, 34, acts out a high school student who gets into trouble while solving mysteries. Although the main character, Veronica, graduated in 2006 Kristin, on the other hand, graduated in 1998 - that's an 8 year difference.

Gabrielle Carteris

For those of you who are not familiar, Gabrielle was part of the "Beverly Hills, 90210" cast from 1990-1994. She played the role of high school smarty-pants, Andrea Zuckerman. While Gabrielle's character started out at around the age of 16 in the series, in real life, Gabrielle was 29 years old! That's a 13 year difference from her character.
