Watch The Batmobile Chase The Joker In ‘Suicide Squad' Set Footage

Hopefully it doesn't lose a wheel.

Ever since "Suicide Squad" was first announced, rumors have circulated that DC and Warner Bros. were planning on bringing their new version of Batman from the upcoming "Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice" movie into the villain-centered spin-off at some point. Those rumors became even more intense when filming began earlier this spring and Ben "Batfleck" Affleck was reportedly spotted on set.

Well, rumor no more, Internet! Now we have clinching proof that Batman will factor into the plot of "Suicide Squad" -- or, at least, his Batmobile will. And we're going to guess that it's not Alfred driving it, right?

Last night the same vehicle we first saw in teaser images from Zack Snyder showed up on set in Toronto, and it's just as badass as we remember it -- possibly more so, now that we can actually see it a bit more clearly:

The new Batmobile was filmed chasing a Pink Infiniti G35 Coupe, which contained Jared Leto and Margot Robbie's stunt doubles playing the Joker and Harley Quinn:

It's worth pointing out that unlike the scene we saw Leto and Robbie perform together last week, Harley's in full clown make-up this time around -- although it looks like her hair is down, you can still see the dye at the ends. On the back of the Joker's car, you can also clearly see a Gotham license plate that reads "HAHAHA":

But that's not all! You need to see both cars in glorious motion, too:

We're guessing that this might be a flashback to when Harley (and the Joker too, maybe?) was first captured by the Dark Knight and sent to Belle Reve prison, where she was then recruited to be part of the Suicide Squad. Of course, regardless of how Dear Ol' Bats factors into the movie, we're just glad to see him out and about.

"Suicide Squad" hits theaters on August 5, 2016.
