While we've been over here reduced to ugly cries for the past three days, thanks to how Nina Dobrev's final episode of "The Vampire Diaries" went down, she's been off taking her preshy little kitten, Gypsy, on a road trip to the Grand Canyon.

And now we're sitting here wondering why we didn't think of this first. It's the purrr-fect way to spend a weekend!

Yep, Nina tweeted all about her cat's great adventure to the great Western outdoors, complete with ridiculously adorable feline selfies and all.

First, there was the shot of the little fur baby's special seat.

So cozy.

Then the little guy played peek-a-boo from her jacket in this group shot.

And he stole it. The whole thing.

And then he pulled the classic lookaway from the camera at the last minute selfie trick.

Because you don't need to walk on two legs to catch attitude with your mom for taking too many pics, right?

Just when we didn't think it was possible to love her more, she goes and does this. [Insert that kitten with heart eyes emoji here.] Oh, Nina. Don't ever change.
