Looks Like Beyoncé Has Officially Picked Her 2016 Presidential Nominee

#Feminist for real though.

It's common knowledge that Beyoncé believes girls run the world, so it comes as no surprise that she was seen at a Hillary Clinton fundraiser on Wednesday, May 13.

With Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders as her only official competition at this time, Hillary is currently the favored Democratic candidate for 2016. This week/forever she's been all about women's rights, as House Republicans passed a bill that bans abortions after 20 weeks.

While Beyoncé and Jay Z might pay up to $500,000 per year for their nannies (that includes the cost of flying them everywhere the Carter-Knowles go), she seems to understand that most independent women still need a little support from their governments and employers when it comes to childcare, or at the very least they must be paid equally for the work they do. As Bey wrote in the "Shriver Report" in 2012, "Equality will be achieved when men and women are granted equal pay and equal respect."

Her views on gender equality are just one example of Beyoncé becoming more political in recent years. Just last week she met with the family of Freddie Gray around the same time as Prince's Rally 4 Peace concert. This also isn't the first time Queen Bey has held court with the potential future leader of America. She threw her support behind Barack Obama in 2008 and 2012, and let's not forget that she basically stole the show at his first inauguration with her cover of Etta James' "At Last."

While we'd love to see Beyoncé perform at another inauguration, we have a better suggestion... Beyoncé turns 35 in September 2016, which means she will be old enough to run for president herself. Will we be seeing Clinton/Knowles 2016 bumper stickers in our future?
