Let The Avengers Explain The Entire History Of MCU In 60 Seconds

We can't vouch for how well they explain, but still.

Next week, theaters around the country will host the so-called Ultimate Marvel Marathon, a back-to-back (to back-to-back...) showing of all 10 previously released films in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, concluding with the latest edition, lucky number 11: "Avengers: Age of Ultron."

But you don't need a 27-hour marathon to catch up on all the goings-on in the various galaxies represented by Marvel flicks. In fact, all you need is roughly a minute with the cast of "Avengers: Age of Ultron."

Ahead of the release of the super-sequel, MTV News asked the cast to give their fastest summary of the films' events, a task that was a tall order for some.

"That's just totally impossible," Paul Bettany, who plays Vision in the upcoming "Ultron" and has voiced Tony Stark's JARVIS in several films, said.

"It's a little out of my paygrade," Jeremy Renner, who plays Avenger Hawkeye, lamented. "I have a bow and arrow, yeah."

Others, like director Joss Whedon, performed impressive pantomimes, while newcomer Elizabeth Olsen, who plays Scarlet Witch in the new movie, gave it their earnest all.

Check out the clip above for your refresher. (Disclaimer: They may have missed just a few details.)

"Avengers: Age of Ultron" will save the world once again on May 1.
