You Haven't Noticed This 'Star Wars' Easter Egg In Every Single Marvel Phase Two Movie

It's a disarming realization.

The Force is strong with these Easter eggs. Or should we call them... Easter Infinity Stones?

Marvel chief Kevin Feige revealed that there are hidden "Star Wars" references in each of Marvel's Phase Two films - more specifically, someone loses a hand or arm in every single movie. In an interview with CinemaBlend, Feige confirmed that every Phase Two flick has an homage to "Star Wars"s arm-slicing ways. An arm-age? We'll work on it.

"I’m obsessed with 'Star Wars.' Who’s not?" He said. "I’m 40 years old. I’m in the movie business. I went to USC. So I’m obsessed with 'Star Wars' -- and it didn’t start out as intentional, but it became intentional... It sort of happens in every 'Star Wars' movie, but I was sort of looking at it, ‘Okay, is Phase Two our "Empire Strikes Back"?’ Not really, but tonally things are a little different. Somebody gets their arm cut off in every Phase Two movie. Every single one."

Oh! So look out for a little bit of this in all the Marvel movies:

So, uh. You're on call, "Age of Ultron" and "Ant-Man." Keep your limbs inside the vehicle, not that we think that'll help matters.

Don't believe us? Here's a roster of who's had their hands taken off their arms.

Killian in "Iron Man 3"

Toward the end, remember?

Thor in "Thor: The Dark World"

It didn't stick, but Loki totally sliced off his brother's hand.

Bucky in "Captain America: The Winter Soldier"

Disney

As it turns out, falling from a train can really mean rough things for your extremities. Hence the robo-arm when he's Bad Bucky.

Groot in "Guardians of the Galaxy"

Yep, Gamora slices one of Groot's tree-arms off in a fight sequence early on.

Oh, did you think we were going to spoil you for "Avengers: Age of Ultron"? That's cute. Rest assured, it's there.

"Avengers: Age of Ultron" hits theaters May 1.
