A LeBron Vs. Jordan Argument Got So Heated, This 22-Year-Old Is Facing Felony Charges

The great debate landed one man in some serious trouble.

One way to get any basketball fan talking is to ask, "Who's better, LeBron James or Michael Jordan?" It's one of the greatest debates in all of sports and has sparked impassioned -- sometimes too impassioned -- cases from both sides.

Case in point: A 22-year-old man in Pennsylvania got so heated about the issue this weekend that he came to blows with his roommate. State College resident Daniel Mondelice and his roommate began arguing about King James and Air Jordan at around 4 a.m. on Saturday (April 18). This got Mondelice so riled up that he allegedly assaulted his roommate, The Daily Collegian reported Sunday (April 19).

Police charged Mondelice with aggravated assault, terroristic threats and simple assault -- though there was no word about which side of the debate he was on.

This follows last week's news of a bloody brawl between two roommates debating the merits of the Android versus iPhone. It might be time to update the old rule that politics and religion should be avoided in conversation.
