Hilary Duff’s ‘Super Naughty’ Party Girl Past Is Kinda Shocking, TBH

OMG, Hil Duff... we thought we knew ya.

Remember that episode of “Lizzie McGuire” where our heroine befriends bad girl Angel (A+ character name choice, BTW) and then proceeds to get a fake nose ring, cut classes, and go to a (gasp!) high school party?

Turns out, Hilary Duff’s real life was a lot more like that than we ever could have imagined.

Though she didn’t experience anything quite as tumultuous as Lindsay Lohan’s downward spiral, it turns out Hilary was totally not that innocent herself.

In case you’re shocked by this new revelation, just remember that history has taught us it’s only a matter of time before every former Disney kid’s wild days are exposed for all the world to find out about. Just sayin’.

Anyway, in a new interview with Time magazine, the now-27-year-old candidly owned up to her former bad girl party antics, admitting she used to sneak into clubs “all the time” with the help of older sis and apparent lousy role model, Haylie.

"She learned the ropes for me and then I got to just sneak in," Hilary spilled. “Super naughty! Naughty, naughty. A fake ID would never work for me because they’d be like, 'We know who you are.' I think I had my sister’s old ID…I can’t even remember having to use it. Who knows.”

Hilary added that “it wasn’t hard” for her to weasel her way into Hollywood hotspots because apparently being famous is just as legit as a fake ID anyway.

“I used to lie about my age to get into clubs and stuff... but I think they would all know how old I was anyway,” she dished. “I was pretty well-known by the time I was trying to get into clubs, and they would just let me in anyway.”

So there we have it: these revelatory club-hopping anecdotes — paired with the equally shocking news she recently shared about her older ex Joel Madden — prove Hilary wasn’t exactly the shining epitome of innocence that we once thought she was.

And if you’re like us and wish that you could have been a fly on the wall during Hilary’s rebellious glory days, there’s good news! She also told Time that on her new TV Land series “Younger,” there’s a lot of risqué plot lines that include her having to “take Molly” and “get drunk a lot.”

Woohoo, something to get excited about!
