Watch The 'Insurgent' Cast Pay Tribute To The Death Of [SPOILER]

Rest in peace, spoiler. You'll be missed.

With reporting by Josh Horowitz

Major spoilers for "The Divergent Series: Insurgent" lie ahead!

Anyone who saw "Divergent" knows that in Veronica Roth's dystopian post-apocalyptic Chicago, no one is safe. Therefore, it should come as no surprise that the film's sequel, "Insurgent," featured the death of yet another main character -- but this time around, the guy at the receiving end of the bullet wasn't quite as beloved as Tris' parents or poor, brainwashed Will.

Instead, it was Jai Courtney's Eric who was killed, when he nearly murdered Tris (Shailene Woodley) but was intercepted by Four (Theo James). It's kind of hard to mourn someone who gets his jollies murdering innocent men, women and children, but MTV News made sure to ask the "Insurgent" cast what they'd miss most about Eric now that he's gone... and believe it or not, not all of them answered with a blank stare.

"Great traps," James said, referring of course to Courtney's stellar trapezius muscles.

"Hair? They could comment on his hair?" Courtney added with a glimmer of hope. (No one commented on his hair, guy.)

As for Courtney's frequent scene partner Mekhi Phifer, he kept it a bit more real when it comes to what people will really miss about Eric -- which is, you know, nothing.

"Jai's a great guy, but his character's kind of a d--k," Phifer said. "So when he gets killed, you're just like, 'Enough, already.'"

"The Divergent Series: Insurgent" hit theaters on March 20.
