Say it ain't so, Hank!
The upcoming "X-Men: Apocalypse" could well be the last time we see Nicholas Hoult sporting furry blue makeup as brilliant mutant scientist Hank McCoy, alias Beast, according to the actor himself. "This is the last one I'm signed up for," he tells E! Online, though he adds that he's not necessarily opposed to making more.
Still, it's worth considering the possibility that Hoult's Hank McCoy days are a thing of future past, if only to prepare ourselves for that eventual outcome — however far away it might be. With that in mind, let's officially declare today Beast Appreciation Day, as we recount the reasons why we love the big, blue, bespectacled hero:
