Björk's video for "Lionsong," the first video off her latest album, Vulnicura, is the acoustic and visual embodiment of so many feels. All of the feels, to be exact.
To convey the song's themes of loss and vulnerability, Bjork teamed up with her creative genius pals Inez & Vinoodh, Framestore, and Tim Masick of Company 3. Together, they've created a stunning and otherwordly tour-de-force that will leave you floored.
To fully appreciate the transcendental awesomeness of this video, we've selected our favorite visual moments, set to a theme we can all relate to: Breaking up with someone. Let Björk walk you through the process from OMG, I can't to over it:
First, you're in denial. You're like 'this isn't happening to me.' But do you have some of the top creative minds in the world to style you and make you look like a statue cast in bronze? Just saying.
Then you're just really sad and dark and brooding, although we don't all get to be sad and dark and brooding in an ethereal dandelion outfit.
Just when you think you lost everything, you're like, 'Nope. I am resilient AF, and I'll get through this.'
You put the past behind you -- shrug it off like ¯\_(ツ)_/¯. You start thinking about your next adventure (ethereal dandelion suit sold separately).
Finally, you just dance because everything's gonna be alright. It would be better, of course, if we had this psychedelic lighting (and looked as cool casually swaying in a latex body suit).
