Disney's about to let it snow, babies! As in, they're introducing a slew of snow babies in "Frozen Fever," the upcoming animated short film playing in front of "Cinderella" this coming weekend.
Check out the frosty little fellas for yourself, in this brand new "Frozen Fever" poster:
Look at all the little Olaf wannabes! Snow babies forever! These carrot-free creatures are called "snowgies," and producer Peter Del Vecho tells Yahoo that they started off as "mini Olafs" before becoming their own entity entirely.
"We realized we wanted Olaf to remain pure," he says, "so quickly it evolved into these fun little snowballs we call 'snowgies' that bring a lot of mischief and fun to the short."
What kind of mischief and fun, you ask? Well, consider their origin story: Snowgies are the byproduct of Snow Queen Elsa having a serious cold. Whenever she sneezes, out pops a snowgie. The shenanigans write themselves.
We'll meet the snowgies and revisit all of our Arendelle favorites when "Frozen Fever" hits theaters this weekend.
