We'll Find Out 'Crucial' Information About James Bond's Childhood In 'SPECTRE,' Director Teases

Plus, Bond is on a mysterious mission.

Bond is back.

Sony today released a new behind the scenes feature with director Sam Mendes dishing on plot details about "SPECTRE," the latest offering in Britain's top spy's ongoing tale. Starring Daniel Craig as James Bond, Mendes promised that "SPECTRE" will bring more details about the "crucial story of Bond's childhood."

Color us intrigued, especially when you throw in Mendes' juicy teases of Bond's mission in this film, which it sounds like he chooses to accept, but not disclose.

"In this movie, 'SPECTRE,' what you have is a movie entirely driven by Bond," Mendes said. "He is on a mission from the very beginning. He is on the hunt, on the trail of somebody. You don't know why, you don't know what he's doing there."

What does it all mean? We can't wait to pull the trigger on November 6, when "SPECTRE" hits theaters.
