A$AP Ferg Shot 'Doe-Active' Video In A Bodega, A Fashion Party 'And' Art Galleries

Talk about variety.

With reporting by Gaby Wilson

A$AP Ferg's recent Ferg Forever mixtape was full of standout tracks, including the single "Doe-Active," which we got a video for this week.

The clip was clearly shot in several different locations, and when MTV News caught up with Ferg backstage at Jeremy Scott's show at New York Fashion Week on Wednesday (Feb. 18), he explained that while shooting, he and his crew "kinda winged it a little."

There's the party scene in Harlem, which he explains was literally shot "in a bodega store on my block," along with footage from Art Basel in Miami.

"Pigalle was throwing a big mansion party so we shot there. We shot at all the art galleries [at Art Basel]. Drake came through, I saw Vampire Weekend, SBTRKT and all my friends." So basically, it just made sense to shoot on the fly.

And yeah, that "Master Bruce" robe was custom-made.
