'Because I Got High' Rapper Knocked Out A Female Fan Onstage (Video)

Afroman was then arrested and released.

Afroman, known for his 2000 chill-out anthem "Because I Got High," lost his chill on Tuesday night.

According to a video obtained by TMZ, the rapper, who was performing in Biloxi, Mississippi, knocked a female fan out with one swift blow when she joined him on stage.

One minute, he was playing the guitar, seeming calm and focused, and the next, his right arm hit her face and she hit the floor.

The site is also reporting that the show was later stopped, and he was arrested outside the venue for assault. He was released after posting $330 bond.

"This was a completely involuntary reflex reaction to people infringing on his stage space," the rapper's spokesperson told Billboard. "It was uncharacteristic behavior that was initiated by outside uncontrolled forces."
