Here's What Happens When 'Silicon Valley' Invades 'Game Of Thrones'

Thomas Middleditch has a pitch for HBO.

With Reporting by Josh Horowitz

Winter is coming — and so is Richard Hendriks.

"Silicon Valley" star Thomas Middleditch and the rest of his computer expert pals return to HBO on April 12, the same night as the "Game of Thrones" season five premiere. But he doesn't want you thinking about "that gong show" about knights, kings and dragons, not when there's "Silicon Valley" to watch.

"Who watches that?" he told MTV when we spoke with him at Sundance, where he was representing "The Bronze," about a washed-up Olympic bronze medalist struggling with her lost fame.

As it turns out, Middleditch absolutely "watches that." So much so, that he even has an idea for how the two HBO shows could cross the streams in an upcoming episode:

"We hack into the worldwide mainframe and discover a portal that takes us into another dimension," he pitched. "We go through the portal, and it's kinda like 'Narnia.' We have to go and save the day, but we're the ones involved in all the orgies and bloody battles and Red Weddings and stuff."

Mike Judge, are you listening?
