Some might say Beyoncé has it all: fame, fortune, talent and a seemingly picture-perfect family life. Come this Sunday at the 57th annual Grammy Awards, Bey might actually have it all, if by all you mean a lock on the #2 spot of the most Grammy Awards ever won by a female artist.
She already has the most Grammy nominations of all time for a woman at 52 to go with 17 wins. That means that with just two wins (out of her six nominations) Bey could pass Aretha Franklin's 18 golden gramophones for that #2 position.
That's a lot of hardware, so we thought we'd give you a visual of what all that Grammy gold looks and feels like:
17 Grammys @ 5 pounds each = 85 pounds total.

A single Grammy is 8.5 inches tall. Beyoncé's 17 Grammys stacked on top of each other = approximately 12 feet tall.

Most people will tell you it's impossible to put a dollar value on winning a Grammy. But we wanted specifics. So we asked John Billings (aka "Grammyman") -- whose Colorado-based Billings Artworks casts the actual Grammy statues -- what the value of the proprietary mix of metals known as "Grammium" used in the manufacture of the Grammys is worth. And he said, "well, I'm not allowed to say."
In other words: Priceless.
