Blake Shelton Brings The Country To 'Saturday Night Live': Watch

Hope you brought your cowboy hat.

Blake Shelton is in the SNL building and yes officer, he has been drinking. "The Voice" host and country star hit Studio 8H for a night of cowboy boots, guitar songs and country twang. Here are the hoe down-worthy highlights.

Bright Lights, Big City

The country boy makes his way to the big city to host "Saturday Night Live" for the first time. (If you're not familiar with Blake Shelton he calls himself the "Justin Bieber of country music.") To get a little more comfortable in this fancy city set-up he brings out a hay bale for an old fashioned "hee haw" with singing and joking. What should be nice country jokes and tunes brings rounds of "your mama" cracks, but also "your sister" and even "your grandpa" jokes. All the while Leslie Jones, sporting blonde pigtails, is unimpressed. She finally comes around at the end of the monologue, and gets in a laugh.

Wish Upon A Boot

Kate McKinnon and Aidy Bryant join Blake in a music video for the "wishin' boot," the little black boot that makes your dreams come true. It can transform your life in a motel by becoming a cornucopia of food, or bust you out of jail for hooking on the streets. The opportunities are endless.

Farm Hunk On The Prowl

Taking a play on the popular "Bachelor" series, Blake Shelton is "Farm Hunk," looking for one out of 25 ladies to call his wife. First up is Alyssa (Cecily Strong) who lives in Hollywood, is a pediatric nurse and has done some "light porn." Vanessa Bayer's character also lives in Hollywood and she's a second grade teacher—in her pornos. To mix it up Kate McKinnon lives in Hollywood, but she's a veteran... of the porn industry. She has the most original get-to-know-you tactics, giving him a handful of spaghetti and after a few more "can I steal him for a sec?" interruptions from other women returns once with a parrot and then again with a blow torch. Hot. But wait, Leslie Jones swoops in for the kill.

"The Voice" Bromance Takes A Turn

Kenan Thompson returns as Steve Harvey for Celebrity Family Feud, where the cast of "The Voice" take on "American Idol." Metrosexual lumberjack Blake Shelton plays himself, leading his fellow cast members Adam Levine (Taran Killam), fashion icon Pharrell (Jay Pharoah) and proud latina woman Christina Aguilera (Cecily Strong) against AI's Keith Urban (Kate McKinnon) Nicki Minaj (Sasheer Zamata) Harry Connick Jr (Beck Bennett) and dreamcatcher come to life Steven Tyler (Kyle Mooney). While the crew tries to guess what not to ask a woman, the real excitement comes when Blake and Adam Levine take their bromance to the next level.

Country Tunes

Pulling double duty for the evening, Shelton put on a show for his performances of "Neon Light" and "Boys 'Round Here." Try to keep yourself from tapping a foot along to this post-break up anthem and feel-good party song—you might even find yourself enjoying some country music after all!

J.K. Simmons and D'Angelo will host and perform on January 31.
