George Clooney Just Sent Us To The E.R. With His Heart-Stopping Globes Speech

We can also get married to Clooney, right?

Now that George Clooney is (finally) a taken man, officially and on paper, he had someone super special to thank in his acceptance speech at this year's Golden Globe Awards -- his new bride, Amal Alamuddin.

And he wasn't one of those dopes who forgot his significant other in the midst of thanking lawyers and randoms from his agency, oh no. Quite the opposite, actually.

Clooney -- yes, the actual George Clooney -- actually got straight-up sentimental on us all while accepting his Cecil B. DeMille Award.

After taking a shot at the Sony Hacks and reminding the non-winners in the room not to have any pity parties, he turned focus to Alamuddin and said, "I've had a pretty good year myself. And I'm not just referring to the fabulous reviews of 'The Monuments Men.' I'll get you back. See, it's a humbling thing when you find somebody to love."

"Even better if you've been waiting your whole life," Clooney continued. "And when your whole life is 53 years -- cue Amy, start the jokes. Amal, whatever alchemy it is that brought us together, I couldn't be more proud to be your husband."

D'awwwwwwwwwwwwww. Can't. Handle. Too. Much. Cute.

Considering this is the same guy who earned this jab from co-hosts Tina Fey and Amy Poehler just a year ago...

Yeah, it has been a busy year.

Tears. Our boy is all grown up.
