What Do You Think Of Comedy Central's 'Colbert Report' Replacement?

Host Larry Wilmore promises 'extra nightly-ness' in this new teaser.

Larry Wilmore peddles "The Nightly Show" to diner customers in a new promo for his upcoming Comedy Central show.

"If you’re looking for something different, might I suggest the Wilmore?" he says. "It has extra nightly-ness."

As Stephen Colbert exits "The Colbert Report," to fill David Letterman's shoes on NBC's "Late Show," the former "Senior Black Correspondent" on "The Daily Show With Jon Stewart," gears up to take Colbert's coveted timeslot on the cable network.

So, what's the show about?

"It’s about giving a voice to the underrepresented, to the underdog," says Wilmore, who has previously described the show as a scripted, comedic take on "Meet The Press."

"The Nightly Show" premieres January 19 on Comedy Central after "The Daily Show."
