Thief Who Stole From Paul Walker's Wreckage Sentenced To Jail

Was justice served?

Anthony Edward Janow, one of the two men arrested last year for stealing from the wreckage of Paul Walker’s fatal car crash, is headed to county jail for six months.

According to US Weekly, the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office announced that Janow, 26, who was sentenced on Tuesday (December 9), will also be required to complete three years of formal probation after his release.

The second suspect, Jameson Brooks Witty, 19, received the same sentence back in August.

The 40-year old “Fast & Furious” star died last year in Santa Clarita, California after the car he was riding in with friend Roger Rodas lost control and burst into flames after hitting a tree.

Janow and Witty stole a roof panel from the demolished Porsche while the tow truck hauling the car away from the scene was stopped at a red light.
