Nostalgia Alert: 'Goosebumps' Movie Is Filled With Classic Characters

I can almost smell the paperback books.

The "Goosebumps" movie starring Jack Black doesn't hit theaters until April 2016, but we're getting a very early look at some of the key creatures via a meme-making contest the movie studio is running.

Over at the official site, you can find a host of photos depicting characters that will definitely be familiar to fans of the original scary books for kids.

Check out the pictures below and see if we can figure out the references!

This may be the aptly named Murder the Clown from "Nightmare on Clown Street."

I'm thinking "Vampire Breath."

Here's Slappy from "Night of the Living Dummy," of course.

"Attack of the Jack-O-Lanterns"

"The Scarecrow Walks at Midnight"

Looks like a zombie from "Welcome to the Dead House."

"Curse of the Mummy's Tomb"?

Obviously, "A Night in Terror Tower."

Perhaps the fortune teller from "Be Careful What You Wish For."

My best guess here is Long Ben One-Leg from "Creep from the Deep."

"Goosebumps" is set to hit theaters in April 2016.
