There's One Crucial Scene In 'Mockingjay' That Hasn't Been Shot Yet

Gettin' the gang back together!

With reporting by Josh Horowitz

While the cast of "The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 1" circles the globe on their penultimate victory lap, there's an air of near finality to the whole thing. After all, while there's still one more film to hit theaters next year on November 20, 2015, shooting has wrapped and Katniss' bow is forever hung up.

Or is it?

In an interview with MTV News ahead of the November 21 release of "Mockingjay - Part 1," director Francis Lawrence, who is also directing the final film in the "Hunger Games" franchise, revealed that there's still one more scene to shoot.

The very last one.

When asked what the final shot of the final film would be, Lawrence answered, "I don't because honestly we haven't shot it yet. It's the one thing we haven't shot."

Unseasonable cold in the film's Atlanta shooting location prevented Lawrence from capturing the springy scene he wanted with Katniss and Co. So it's not quite over yet!

"We're going to have a reunion, a little 'Mockingjay' reunion," Lawrence said.

Yesssss.

"The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 1" hits theaters November 21.
