Along with being in great company on seriously major list and honoring title holders with a bundle of high profile essays, TIME's 100 Most Influential People in the World are also celebrated with a swanky New York gala. More than likely there's a performer or two on the list, like Rihanna and Adele this year, which makes providing entertainment and speech-givers a little bit easier. Thus, Ri both attended the TIME 100 Gala and performed at it, allowing for *drumroll* a wardrobe change. YAY!!!
For the dinner, the listed influencer wore a volumionus magenta Marchesa creation from the Resort 2012 collection. The bold pink color and the dress's hourglass shape provided a beautiful feminine balance to Ri's edgy onyx Skrillex hair, oval manicure, and simple pumps. For her performance outfit, Ri opted for a Pre-Fall 2012 look by her TIME 100 essayist Stella McCartney. The metallic jacquards and satins of her two-piece tube top + trouser ensemble provided the kind of energy and movement essential to a performance outfit while also providing enough action to warrant a total carry-over of her minimal dinner outfit accessories.
