Royal Blood Kept Rock Alive With Their 2014 MTV EMA Performance

The duo performed 'Figure it Out' in Glasgow.

One Direction and 5SOS won big at the 2014 MTV EMA on Sunday night (November 9), but rock had a big moment in Glasgow, too. In addition to U2's performance and Ozzy Osbourne being honored with the Global Icon Award, Royal Blood held their own onstage at the SSE Hydro arena.

The British rock duo, composed of bassist/singer Mike Kerr and drummer Ben Thatcher, performed their hit "Figure It Out" completely surrounded by fans, who seemed to be hanging from the rafters and overflowing in front of the band.
