There's nothing quite like a family movie night. Between mom's homemade popcorn and getting the whole family together, the nostalgic pleasure of taking in some cinematic magic from the comfort of one's home seriously can't be beat.

BUT -- and this is a major "but" -- nothing can put a dent in family night quite like an awkward (usually sexual) scene creeping in to ruin the fun. From heartwarming love stories that took a terrible turn to porno films disguised as innocent cartoons, here are 17 scenes we watched with our parents that we really, really wish we hadn't:

Watching this with one's dad as an 11-year-old... Yeah. Traumatizing.

Awkward only because of how much mom enjoyed it.

Weird, but also hilarious. How is that remotely sexual?

A movie about high school football. What could possibly go wrong?

Yeeesh. This was a lot for a 9-year-old watching a PG-13.

12. Anything With Fat Bastard, "Austin Powers"

Same goes for the never-ending dick joke.

11. The Third Nipple, "Mallrats"

Boys will be boys?

10. Mila Pleasures Natalie, "Black Swan"

Even in adulthood, this never ceases to be awkward.
