What Will We See In The 'X-Men: Days Of Future Past' Rogue Cut?

The extended cut is going Rogue.

Rogue fans, rejoice. The entire detailed subplot from "X-Men: Days of Future Past" featuring the power-borrowing mutant will make its way back into the movie sometime next year with the "Rogue Cut."

Writer-producer Simon Kinberg gave the details to Variety, saying that more than 10 minutes will be added for the extended cut, which should hit sometime during the first half of 2015.

"Every movie has scenes that are cut out, but not every movie has scenes cut out with such a beloved character," Kinberg said.

The "Rogue Cut" will restore the majority of Anna Paquin's role, which was significantly reduced to streamline the already jam-jacked movie... But what else was left on the cutting room floor?

In the months since "Days of Future Past" hit theaters, details about other deleted sequences have come to light, including one which gave a little more for Professor X and Magneto (as played by Patrick Stewart and Ian McKellen, respectively) to do in the film's dystopian future. There's no word on whether that side mission will make it onto the extended cut, which for the moment seems to focus squarely on Rogue, but here's to hoping we get more Stewart and McKellen.

"X-Men: Days of Future Past" is available now on digital platforms.
