Will Smith, Here’s The Perfect Birthday Present: Ed Sheeran Rapping The ‘Fresh Prince’ Theme Song

Ed also shows us is 'Fresh Prince' tattoo in this throwback video.

We know you all are out there 'Gettin' Jiggy Wit It' because today is a day of celebration: It's Will Smith's birthday.

The rapper-turned-TV-star and blockbuster actor celebrated his 46 birthday today, (September 25) and to mark this momentous occasion we've been all rapping the "Fresh Prince Of Bel-Air" theme song, pretty much all day. But, we aren't the only ones probably celebrating in that way, because we guess that Ed Sheeran might be doing the same.

See, Ed's a big fan of Will, and his TV show, so much so, that he actually has the words "Prince" in colorful green block letters tattooed on his arm.

“I played in Philadelphia and I was on tour with my friends, the Rizzle Kicks, who were my opening act,” Ed told us back in 2013 adding that he actually got the tattoo in Philly. “And I got ‘Prince,’ Jordan got ‘Fresh’ on his leg, and Harley got on his arm ‘on the playground where I spent most of my days.’ ”

And if you are wondering if Sheeran really is a legitimate “Fresh Prince” fan, he proved it by rapping the entire theme song of the show, and unsurprisingly, never missed a beat. Go to the 1:00 mark to see Ed in action.
