Luke Evans Finds Out What It Means To Be A Monster In First 'Dracula Untold' Clip

Don't try to be a hero.

Luke Evans is about to get an education in the ways of being a monster. And who better to teach him than Charles Dance a.k.a Tywin Lannister of "Game of Thrones" fame?

In this first clip from the upcoming "Dracula Untold" flick Evans, as Vlad Tepes, spars with Dance, the ancient vampire. Tepes will eventually become Dracula in order to save his family.

The two debate the power of fear, Dance asking why you should spill blood if not for the pleasure of it, naturally, while Tepes counters that "Men do not fear swords, they fear monsters."

Dance, who we presume knows his way around the blood-sucking, coffin-dwelling ways of vampires, tells Tepes "you have no idea what it means to be a monster."

We're guessing he ain't seen nothing yet.

“Dracula Untold” will be released on October 10.
