One of the shows we always look forward to every time New York Fashion Week rolls around is Mark McNairy's—not just because of his uncanny ability to cheekily reinvent preppy staples, but because he almost always finds a way to showcase his latest hip-hop obsession. We've seen Danny Brown, Pusha T, Angel Haze, and Cam'ron all catch the fashion bug thanks to McNasty, and this time around, he recruited Travi$ Scott for his Spring/Summer 2015 runway show.
The Days Before Rodeo MC opened the show in a two-tone varsity bomber with tartan shorts and not much else. He gave a convincing runway strut for the first straightaway, but threw all caution to the wind on his way backstage.
More specifically, Travi$ skipped and bounded back to the dressing area, catching more air than any of the people at the McNairy show had seen on a runway. Maybe ever. It was unexpected, for sure, but fit right in with McNairy's established IDGAF attitude.
Scott returned with the same boundless energy for his second look: an extra-long red plaid tunic, loose charcoal shorts, and black socks with athletic slides. Not bad for the dude's first time on a runway.
