At the height of the Death Row era, Suge Knight was one of the most feared men in the music industry, but these days he's sounding more like a gentle giant -- even after being struck by six bullets. Or, maybe that's just what he wants us to believe?
Suge is at home recovering after being shot multiple times during an unofficial pre-VMA party, and he doesn't seem to be too upset at whoever is responsible for his injuries.
"Even if I [did know], I don't think that's really important, who pulled the trigger and who I seen pulled the trigger," he told TMZ. "I think that I'm doing extremely well, I'm happy to be doing well and whatever happens, happens."
The next part sounds more like Suge, though. When asked how he managed to exit the club on his own two feet after being shot six times, he basically said "no big deal."
"I went to the club, I enjoyed the club, I was shot inside the club and one thing my father always told me [is] no matter what it is, you never give up. You never quit if you start something, or you walk in a place one way, no matter what goes on, you leave the same way as a man," he said. "I was shot and I think it was important that I wanted to walk and make sure I got to the right place..."
And, apparently he's also numb, or his adrenaline turned the pain off. "I think when you get shot you don't feel a thing."
"It's gonna be some times when you might get a few shots, but if you're able to survive those shots, you're supposed to make yourself stronger and be more positive and more aggressive of the people you wanna deal with, and that's the page I'm really on."
