Talib Kweli Got Into A Shouting Match With This CNN Reporter On Live TV: Watch

Kweli and Don Lemon went at it over CNN's coverage of the protests in Ferguson.

A day after Killer Mike appeared on CNN to talk about the shooting of Michael Brown and its aftermath, the network invited another socially-minded rapper, Talib Kweli, to weigh in.

On the ground in Ferguson, Missouri, where the 18-year-old was killed nearly two weeks ago, Kweli spoke with anchor Don Lemon for a segment that turned into a tense back-and-forth.

The Brooklyn rapper was critical of CNN's coverage -- both online and on television -- of the recent protests in Ferguson, and cited one particular article that he felt was inaccurate, claiming to have been on the ground for the events written about in the story, though saying that he witnessed them unfolding differently.

Lemon tried to chime in, which irked Kweli, who pleaded, "Let me finish my point before you talk."

The two then verbally tussled for the next few minutes, each getting in a few words. At times, the discussion seemed more like a shouting match than a conversation, but in the end, the BK MC made sure to leave viewers with his final point.

"I wanna say, for people, to keep the focus on Mike Brown."
