Since there are so many stars headed to the MTV Video Music Awards on Sunday, August 24 at 9 p.m. ET/PT, it's no wonder that the celebrity journalists of the world want the inside scoop.

This includes fake celebrity journalists, like Dave Skylark.

On Sunday, August 17 to kick off VMA week, James Franco and Seth Rogen are bringing their characters from the upcoming movie "The Interview" to MTV for a night of deep-diving and hilarious interviews.

Franco, as Dave Skylark, will be sitting down with the likes of Iggy Azalea, Nicki Minaj and Jason Derulo. His producer, Aaron Rapoport (Seth Rogen), will also be there to help.

Last week, Rogen hinted at the special in a tweet exchange with Buzzfeed.
