After months of speculation, it's finally been confirmed that Jason Momoa will play Aquaman in the upcoming “Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice,” as well as sequel film “Justice League.”

But now, the debate surrounding the movie must turn to a new, equally burning question: Will Jason Momoa be donning his character's requisite skintight green leggings for the role?

Jimmy Kimmel, who clearly understands the importance of this vital element of Aquaman's wardrobe, put the question to Momoa during an appearance on Wednesday's episode of "Jimmy Kimmel Live," asking whether the hero's trademark leotard would be part of his look for the film.

Momoa responded by cagily stroking his beard, then asked, "Would you like to see me in a green leotard?"

At which point the audience screamed, "Stop toying with us, man, and tell us if we'll be seeing your exquisite butt in seafoam spandex or not!" (Yes, they did. They screamed it internally.)

Unfortunately, the conversation moved on without Kimmel insisting on a straight answer from his guest, which means we'll all just have to wait for official images from the film to solve the mystery of the Aquapants.
