Here's What Jason Derulo's 'Talk Dirty' Sounds Like With The Added Benefit Of Luke Bryan

What do you get when you mash up the incongruous musical stylings of Jason Derulo, Luke Bryan and Florida Georgia Line for the 2014 CMT Music Awards’ cold open?

Performance gold, that’s what.

Led off by the iconic guitarists Billy Gibbons and Dusty Hill of ZZ Top, Derulo bounded forward to the front and center of the stage to serve up his crossover smash hit, “Talk Dirty.” Dressed in white jeans, backwards ballcap and white hoody, the pop music singer preened and danced for the capacity crowd at Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena.

Not to be outdone, Bryan and the guys from FGL joined in on the fun, turning their hats backwards and mimicking Derulo’s signature dance moves with rhythmic precision while adding their own down-home brand of country flavor.

Excited, ladies in the audience shrieked and cheered in appreciation of the award show’s latest unlikely matchup.

The music then segued into the country music chart-topper, “This Is How We Roll.” FGL’s Tyler Hubbard and Brian Kelly let their lyrics flow footloose and fancy free before turning it over to their collaborator, Bryan.

All throughout, though, Derulo was right there, singing with the rest of the guys in perfect harmony.

To close out the set, the bearded maestros of the electric Gibson joined the rest of the gang at center-stage to riff, scat and warble the remainder of their number.
