Mariah Carey Taps Rich Homie Quan For 'Thirsty': Listen

Mimi inches closer to the release of 'Me. I am Mariah… The Elusive Chanteuse'

Mariah Carey, Rich Homie Quan and Hit-Boy on the same track? Unexpected, to say the least. Mimi tapped the Atlanta rapper and Cali-based producer to craft her latest single "Thirsty," which sounds like a blend of classic Mariah-pop, with a 'lil something for the clubs.

And no, Mariah isn't the one in desperate need of a drink. "You're thirsty for a dream/ Leaving me drowning/ Boy, there ain't no S.O.S." she sings on the track.

Rich Homie Quan's contribution debuted on the radio, but for now the stream below only includes Mariah's vocals. (Listen to Rich Homie Quan's feature here).

"Thirsty" is expected to appear on her upcoming album Me. I am Mariah… The Elusive Chanteuse, which drops on May 27. Additional features on the project include Nas, Wale, Miguel and Trey Songz.

“The album itself was always most important because I wanted to make sure that it was a journey that was representative of who I am and what I’ve been through over the past three years,” Carey recently told MTV News about the upcoming LP.
