Time for the question of the day. Well, for the question of 2014, actually. Lil Jon and DJ Snake's "Turn Down For What" has pretty much taken over the year music-wise, but we're still left wondering: "For what reason would one turn down?"

Luckily, we're no longer left hanging. We got the answer (two of them!) from Lil Jon Thursday night.

"The police and sleeping," the rapper told MTV News.

The rest of the time should be spent turned all the way up. And that's what people -- from Miley Cyrus to famous Viners -- are doing.

"['Turn Down For What' has] turned into something that won't go away and it's just getting bigger and bigger inside of pop culture, so I'm blessed," Lil Jon said. "Not many artists get songs like that. I'm blessed to get a couple of those in my career."

Lil Jon's upcoming joint, "Bend Ova" featuring Tyga, may be another one of those songs.

"It's pretty crazy. It's not 'Turn Down For What' but it's a song ladies can dance to," he said.
