Watch Cam'Ron Strut Down A Fashion Week Runway In His New Cape Line

The Dipset rapper closes Mark McNairy's NYFW runway show with a fur-lined cape.

Capes aren't only for superheroes and that's word to Cam'Ron. The Dipset rapper officially debuted his new cape line with designer Mark McNairy at New York Fashion Week on Tuesday (February 11).

Killa Cam once made it cool for men to sport pink from head to toe, so it's only natural that he should try to push things a bit further with a brand new cape line. After rocking capes on his birthday and during a cameo at 2 Chainz's New York City show last week, he revealed on Instagram that he was linking up with McNairy to make it all possible.

Dipset's "Hey Ma" was blasting during the Mark McNairy Fall/Winter 2014 fashion show in New York today while models made their way down the runway, but Cam and his girlfriend JuJu weren't going to miss an opportunity to strut their stuff as well. The couple held hands and threw out the beauty queen wave to the audience as they headed down the runway to close the show. Cam was draped in a black, fur-lined cape, with "Dipset" printed on the back.

If you aren't feeling the caped look at the moment, maybe it'll grow on you. Because, as Cam advises, you should probably #CapeNowHateLater.

Backstage he told Complex that he linked with McNairy through a mutual friend and business partner, and now Killa Cape Season was in full effect.

"I was wearing capes in the street even before this came about. This is why this is part of this fashion week because they seen me on Instagram rocking the cape," Cam said. "It was opening day February 2, after the Super Bowl. That's when the streets got it. I don't know when we're going to put them on sale yet, but it's been opening day for me for about 10 days.

Was he nervous about walking down the runway, though? "I mean, the thing is with me, my life is a catwalk. Everything is a catwalk for me. I walk to the store and that's a catwalk. So to me, this is pretty much easy."
