'The Voice' Recap: Coaches Prepare For The 'Kill'

'I will kill you,' Adam Levine tells Blake Shelton as the top 10 fight for the vote.

"The Voice" contestants fought hard again on Monday night (November 18) to avoid elimination.

The top 10 came together to kick start the night with a joyful, harmonious group performance of "Say It, Just Say It." There were some surprises, though, as the usual frontrunners fell a tad pitchy or flat, leaving room for these bright stars to shine:

Austin Jenckes

Team Blake's soul rocker was committed to showing his pipes this time around with "Your Love." Jenckes, with his guitar in tow, invigorated the crowd, starting slow and building to a powerful ending. "Your range is so amazing," Levine told Jenckes who had the audience clapping along while Green called him "effortless."

Will Champlin

"The Voice" underdog strikes again. Repping Team Adam, Champlin came out strong with a dark, almost sexy rendition of "Love Me Again." Accompanied by his piano, the rocker delivered a devilish performance that elicited two thumbs up from Green. "I feel like you came into your own," Aguilera said.

Kat Robichaud

She was given a second chance through the first-ever "Voice Save" last week and boy, did Team Cee Lo's glam rocker exude "katitude." Robichaud came back stronger than ever with a dynamic performance of "We Belong" that was theatrical and one that would "live forever," as Green put it. She started on the piano, quickly building energy on her feet and ending up on top of the paino, all while in a tight dress. "This is what we've been waiting for the entire time," Levine said.

Matthew Schuler

Team Christina's sole man standing can do no wrong. The gifted Schuler dedicated the romantic ballad "Beneath Your Beautiful" to his future wife (insert swoons), delivering a heartfelt performance that had the studio in uproar. Aguilera made sure his vocal chops were in order, making the young crooner participate in a yoga session to connect to his voice and breathing. "Finding that future wife, not going to be a problem for you man," Levine told the crooner, "that was no less than amazing."

While all the contestants soared, two will be eliminated tomorrow night as the top 8 is revealed.
